With an official invitation, Green tress Environmental Association has participated in the first day of Kurdish culture in the French – Lyon.

The hall of Lyon City, hosted yesterday the dedicated first day of Kurdish culture, in the presence of Nathalie Perrin-Gilbert, Lyon’s deputy city delegate for Culture, Kendal, the President of the Kurdish Institute in Paris, figures from the Kurdish community, and elected officers and deputies from Lyon city.

The forum was launched with the participation of a hundred audiences from the cultural and political circles of the Kurdish community, and Kurds friends. The first day’s activities included the topics of art, geography/economics, environment, cultural identity, and education….
In addition, Gulistan Sido, the PR at Green Tress Environmental Association, participated and conducted a detailed presentation about the environmental situation in Rojava, the association’s activity, its goals, business progress, programs and future plans.
Sido also touched base of the difficult circumstances that the Autonomous Administration areas in northern and eastern Syria are going through after the frequent attacks by Turkish aircraft, and drones which targeted the infrastructure and impacted badly the vital facilities which are important for overall livelihoods sides, and How these attacks affected all civilian forces activities and the services provided by the Autonomous Administration institutions.
