On February 22, the Green tress Environmental Association distributed tree seedlings within the project / Environmental School – Environmental Community / and in memory of the martyr artist Mansour Karimian (PIRO SINE) to the schools of the city of Terbesbia, where the seeds were planted two years ago and have been cared for and watered since then in coordination between Both the workers in the Odeh field and the association, this nursery is one of ten nurseries that were worked to establish in cooperation with civil and official institutions, noting that part of this nursery was damaged as a result of the Turkish government’s air raids on 12-22-2023 and another part was destroyed. It is noteworthy that at the beginning of this year, in cooperation between the Education Authority in Al-Jazira Province, the Directorate of Education in Terbesbia, and the Green tress Association, environmental committees were established in schools and training workshops were initiated to qualify and activate these committees. 60 teachers and school officials from the environmental committees were trained in the schools of Terbesbia and its villages. .
It is worth noting that the environmental school project began a year ago and the first step was in the city of Qamishlo, where environmental committees were formed within schools and trained.
